Rachael D. Lamkin represents clients in a broad range of intellectual property disputes and negotiations. Ms. Lamkin has litigated patents from biotechnology to software. She has served as lead counsel in litigations involving medical device patents and mechanical engineering patents. She has second chaired two litigations involving software patents and served as lead discovery counsel in a complex software patent litigation that ultimately spanned three separate forums. Ms. Lamkin has showed particular aptitude and passion for creative procedural shortcuts and solutions.
Prior to joining Turner Boyd, Ms. Lamkin was an associate at Day Casebeer Madrid and Batchelder where her clients included SAP and Amgen. While in law school, Ms. Lamkin was a two-term clerk for the civil division of the United States Attorneys Office, where she was awarded a Commendation of Excellence for her work in antitrust and white collar crime matters. She also interned for the Honorable Lawrence K. Karlton in the Eastern District of California and was a member of the National Moot Court Team. Ms. Lamkin has dual degrees in philosophy and neuroscience and has completed post-baccalaureate coursework in statistics and statistical modeling. Prior to going to law school, Ms. Lamkin was a stockbroker for Morgan Stanley and a professional athlete.

Ms. Lamkin is a member of the California Bar Association’s IP Litigation Section and two American Bar Association sections: Science & Technology Law and Electronic Entertainment and Virtual Worlds Legal Group.

Ms. Lamkin is admitted to practice in all California state and federal courts, the District of Colorado (federal), and the Eastern District of Texas.
